The time is coming very soon when the Lord is going to do some new and exciting things.

 

This prophetic word was given to me over the span of a few months during which time God gave me various insights that have formed a mosaic which I present to you in what I have written herein. God also spoke a few times in which He reiterated what He previously said for emphasis. At the time this was given to me the pandemic was raging, and still is, the U.S. was coming out of a hotly contested election in which there is great bitterness and division felt by most of the nation, a spirit of fear has overtaken the land, and the backdrop to all this is a culture and nation and church in moral and spiritual decline.

Despite these things, God will, as always, be faithful to His Word. He is the Word (John 1:1) and, while He is exceedingly gracious and longsuffering because He wants all to come to Him, He will not let wickedness and sin continue on their current trajectory without people and nations receiving the penalty or their sins. Because people and nations refuse to repent, thereby declaring open rebellion against Him, He will give them over to their lusts and appetites (Romans 1:24). The world and God’s people are increasing on different trajectories. We are beyond the “Y” in the road, the die is cast.

Yet, for the people of God, there is great reason to be encouraged. However, such encouragement will not come from the world around them. God’s people are increasingly being called by the Spirit, with a heart of incredible mercy and grace, to set their affections and eyes upon God alone. He will their source of joy and strength. Tragically, many will fall away from the faith (something that appears to already be happening), having put their trust in the world; all the while having a form of godliness yet simultaneously denying its power. Yet, for those who love the Lord with all their minds, souls and strength will see God is ways heretofore they have not seen.

God is doing a wonderful thing! As the perfect Father that He is, He is utilizing the current state of the world, as well as events yet to unfold, to encourage His children to set their hopes and affections upon Him, and Him alone. God has told me on two occasions that things are going to get interesting. This was not meant to be some ominous statement, nor was it meant to be trite. Rather, for His children, we will see Him move in great ways. We will also see many believers become true disciples who do the work of true biblical disciples (Matthew 28:18-20 & Mark 16:15-18).

The Lord is truly raising up a powerful army. It is not an army powerful in itself, but powerful in the might and strength of the Lord. These warriors will understand the sign of the times and know how to minister by being totally reliant upon and obedient to the Lord. Similar to what we see in the Book of Acts, we will experience revival that, due to persecution and pressure, will spread and catch fire. This revival will energize believers to preach the Word with signs and miracles following. There is going to be an acceleration of what God is going to do because of the acceleration of wickedness in society. Because many leaders within the five-fold ministry have been unfaithful to raise up the body of Christ into maturity, as well as to equip them in their gifts and callings, the Spirit Himself will raise and equip believers. This will be rejected by those who love their ministries more than they love Jesus. However, this will not stop the Lord from doing this great thing. While God is not rejecting those already in the five-fold ministries He is going to do a new thing in raising people up because of what He wants to accomplish. It will be these people through whom God will move mightily and befuddle the world around them. What they will do, and the power in which they will do it, will be undeniable because of the anointing that will be upon them. They will do great exploits for the Lord.

The nations will rage and there will be wars and rumors of wars. Long-term economic decline exacerbated by increasingly unsustainable financing of national debt while become the norm. Social policies, as created and exercised by governments, will have a corrosive effect upon citizens and a detrimental affect upon social cohesion. Much of this is known and is already taking place; however, it will get worse and become the norm. Added to this will be regional crop failures and famine in regions including Eur-Asia and Africa. Events like this will stress nations.

Some governments will increasingly control their people and severely limit their freedoms. They will be largely successful in doing so, yet they will be greatly frustrated in their efforts. A growing and persistent sense of frustration will rule the day.  As the nations with their governments and people become increasingly frustrated in every way, and continue to go into decline, the Lord’s people will increasingly move in might and power in their God.

The institutional church will not understand these events and will lack the power to effect change. The church, for the most part, is operating based on an old model and is therefore an old wineskin. Unwilling to reform itself, as well as recognize and accept the new thing God is doing, they will seek contextualize a new move of God yet not fully grasp what is God’s heart and intent. Many of its leaders who have great prestige and followings will criticize and come against what God is doing and speak against the people He is using. Effectively, they will be fighting against God.

While the world will increasingly lose hope, God will be broadcasting it. Those who turn from the world to God will be blessed. However, those who do not, will allow their conscious to be seared will abandon the hope that otherwise could be theirs in Christ (Jonah 2:8). God wants to create a people in His image with His heart. Those who want to create God in their own image will be like dead men’s bones.

It is time for God’s people to see the coming of their King. We need to see what we are now entering into with spiritual eyes and to hear with spiritual ears. What God is doing is a wonderful thing in the midst of a hostile world. God wants Himself to be known, and He is not ashamed to call those who obey and love Him, His children – the people of His pasture and those for whom He with invite to the feast (Luke14:15-24).
